Client context

The business context.

A telecommunications group was extending an existing Fieldglass solution beyond its initial deployment. The country operations needed a consistent process for contingent workers while accounting for local requirements.

The rollout had to distinguish requirements that fitted the existing solution from those needing changes. Work orders, time and expenses also needed to connect correctly with purchase orders and receipts in the ERP environment.

The work

How the engagement was delivered.

  • Resolve local requirements against the shared solution

Steered the fit-gap assessment and requirements discussions across business and delivery teams. Coordinated the treatment of local tax, statutory and integration requirements within the rollout scope.

  • Connect configuration, integration and user acceptance

Coordinated configuration and ERP-interface dependencies with user-acceptance support. Kept the full worker process in view, from job posting and selection to work orders, time and expenses.

What changed

A wider deployment with consistent worker and supplier data.

The rollout extended the existing platform to additional country operations. It standardized contingent-worker roles and consolidated supplier billing-rate information, with local requirements incorporated into the solution. The independent PMO coordinated the business and technical work supporting deployment.
